The Vishay Polytech product portfolio includes molded tantalum chip capacitors with manganese dioxide cathode, molded tantalum chip capacitors with polymer cathode, and niobium capacitors. Features of Vishay Polytech capacitors include low equivalent series resistance (ESR), high reliability, high-temperature performance, small sizes, and low profiles. In June 2014, Vishay acquired Holystone Polytech and its product portfolio which complemented Vishay's tantalum capacitor product portfolio.
